A Refreshing Book that Will Speak to Your Soul and Spirit
Love Letters from Poland, by Sarah de Orlando, is a wonderful book written for those who experience depression, anxiety, or other daily struggles.
Sarah de Orlando speaks from her heart as she shares how Jesus healed her brokenness from a painful and troubled past. When God, through her job, sent her to Poland for a few months, He used the quietness there, away from the distractions of television and the internet, to help her hear His voice. God showed her His mighty love for her, His love that He has for all of us no matter how unlovable we may think we are.
The author shares a very personal story of hope and healing that will inspire and encourage others who are bound by Satan’s lies (that includes all of us, as we all absorb the devil’s lies into our lives from time to time). God loves all of us. Our identity is not in what we do or what other people think of us. Our identity is in how God sees us: someone so precious that He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins.
With a writing style that is pleasant and flowing, the book is a delight to read. The author’s choice of words in each sentence helps paint word pictures that draws the reader into the story, whether it is going to a church that truly cares about God and other people or walking through a forest or along a beach. Reading the book is as refreshing to your soul and spirit as the wind on the shore of the Baltic Sea.
