Know that the LORD, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

The Importance of a Nonexclusive Contract

There are many things to look for in a self-publishing service company. Here is one of them:

Do they use a “nonexclusive” contract?

If the contract is “exclusive,” then you cannot publish your book with anyone else until that contract has expired or been cancelled.

A nonexclusive contract means you can publish your book with other companies too. After you have self-published your book, if a major publishing company wanted to publish the book, you would be free to accept them. With an exclusive contract, you would not be able to do that.

TABLELAND PRESS uses a nonexclusive contract. If you know of someone who has written a book or wants to write a book, I would appreciate it if you would let them know about TABLELAND PRESS.

Thank you,

Margaret Sorensen
